Is service manual enough

I picked up a 2000 Evinrude 225 that I will be installing on a boat I am building this summer. I have the service manual and accessory manual (for the wiring) on their way. Is there anything in the owners manual that is not covered in these two? I have no problem buying one if it is needed.

The service manual is the best investment you'll make for your motor however, the owners manual will help to.

The owner's manual tells you how to install, run, and maintain your motor. None of that stuff is in the service manual, which tells you how to fix it after you didn't do what is defined in the owner's manual.

Good enough for me, I will order one tonight. I have always dealt with early 70's or older outboards where parts lists and repair manuals are all I have ever used. I figured the newer hightech motors might require the owners manual.
