You could use it for temp gage or water pressure (0-15 psi) but I think water pressure is more useful to keep tabs on waterpump.

You can get the gage from a Merc dealer or somewhere else, and they might have the adapter pipe that threads into the block and the line fitting. Usually the gage package includes the tubing but if you need more parts an auto parts store (Pep Boys?) should have something, the parts are the same as used for an auto oil pressure gage.
