Is there a difference between Wmk30 and wmk 39 carburetors

My carburetors need to be rebuilt on my mercury tower if power. I have a guy that will sell me his carburetors off a parts motor for the same price as the kit. They’re off different years but same Hp. They look the exact same from the pictures he sent me. So my question is will the wmk-39 work with my motor witch had the wmk-30 carburetors on it? is there any difference with them?

Both are 90hp carbs but why as them will likely need a kit too?
