Is there a fuel usage formula?

Hey Guys<br />How much fuel does an 80's carb 200 burn?<br />How about a 90's carb 200?<br />I guess you figure it at WOT right? even tho you do not run wide open all of the time?<br />Is there a formula?<br />I still don't own a boat, but the more I read the more it cost. LOL <br /><br />M

At WOT those motors will burn 20 gallons per hour or 10% of the rated horsepower.
