is there a way to "back flush" my 5.7L omc to clean out the water passsage ways.

I am going through my boat and I have the exhaust manifold off, the out drive off. I am looking to flush the motor out to assure the water ways are clean and clear. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Ayuh,... The easiest, probably Best way, is to have it Runnin', with the drain plugs out....

Just keep pokin', 'n prodin' the drain holes, til ya get good clean water flows outa 'em....

where are the drain holes located? on the block?

Ayuh,.... There's 2 on the block, 1 each side, down at the bottom, mid-way, just above the oil pan rail...
