is they camshaft too much for a 86 mercruiser 350?

A friend has this camshaft and said i could have it if i wanted it for a 86 mercruiser 350 4bbl carbed engine

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO That will not work Period.

1. That Duration is made for extremely high RPM's
2. That lift will pull your stock pressed in studs right out of your head. (You do have enough valve to piston clearance though. In my time working on stock sbc's you can get away with just under 600 lift .
2. Your heads would need to get the spring seats machined out for duel springs.
3. 114LSA is too high. You'll have reversion.
