Is this a decent motor?

I'm looking at a boat with a Suzuki 115 (see photo). I have an old Merc. It's been dead reliable. Can I expect the same of this Suzuki, assuming compression is good and it runs OK on the water?

I have a 23yr old dt75, i love it.just got back from fishing in canada with a friend. he has a 16 ft 90 hp evirude,same hull as mine and i had no trouble keeping up with him, we were both caring about same amount of wieght.If it runs good,i wouldn't hesitate.
