I have that one. Good for depth and temp. Not good for marking fish.

If you can locate that cable and it fits the connection properly there's a decent chance it might work. However most - if not all - head units will require their proper transducer to work. It's a frequency thing and I'm not all that good at trying to explain it simply - or at all for that matter :(.

The thingey on the transom is called the transponder, and unless its the same brand and type..No, it wont work for one thing the plug end will be different, second there not universal, your choice makes a good depth finder but a poor fishfinder, the output is only 100w..useless for finding fish..unless there whales, get a humminbird 718..its only $100 more comes with everything and is great, so is Garmin for about the same price. There output is far greater, you can select many fishfinding options.Otherwise you just bought a depth finder, cause thats all its good for, what you need to look for is output power. Mid range units (2-3 hundred $$) put out 500w rms, top of the line 1000w rms.
