well i called the deale and they said that for them in they had it in stock a 40hp evinrude etec 2008 i guess is 5,600$$ thats like msrp for them and probably more cause of taxes but thats seems little pricey and i think msrp from evinrude is liek 6400 they guy said is this a good price ? for a 40hp

Did you read your post before you hit "Submit". It is not easy to read.

Sounds like the dealer either isn't sure of the price. I would check with other dealers in your area. If I were buying a new E Tec I would get the 2009. It's the 100 year anniversary of Evinrude.
