Is this a lean or rich condition on accel pump?

Installed new Holley carb (marine 2300) on my 5.7 GS and trying to get all the adjustments correct. Once installed, it would bog down under hard accelerating but would do fine with a slow increase. Replaced the new accel pump nozzle with nozzle from old carb and bog almost disappeared. However, I still have a small bog, enough to annoy the skiers trying to get up. Pretty sure not the power valve as I used the 4.5 as per the Volvo manual and this forum. Also have the 50cc pump and adjusted it per the manual and this forum.

Therefore, it seems I might need a small adjustment up or down on the nozzle size. My questions is how do I determine if the bog is caused by a lean or rich situation in the nozzle flow?

You definitely made the right move going with the nozzles from the original carb config. Compare the accel pump lever cam on the backside of the throttle lever on both carbs, the one the pump lever rides on. Are they the same color? And mounted in the same holes? That can make a difference in how the pump shot is applied during throttling.

Sorry for being late but the nozzle number is worn off. It is bigger than the stock one but I think I am stuck if I,can't identify what I have.
