im thinking about buying a different boat, selling the Rinker with the Omc 4.3 V-6 cobra (175hp) ,, And Buying a Searay with a 140 mercruser.. what ya think..

That's one of the simplest engines to maintain - and one of the most dependable. Searay makes a nice boat as well.

That's a funky fuel line - is that a protective cover someone has added??

yep, the boat is in mint condition 102 hrs on engine , always stored inside. 18ft same as the Rinker i have..

Don't know what part of the country you are from, but that orange cover on the fuel line makes me think it get hot in that engine compartment, and the cover is to help prevent vapor lock. Minor problem really. But just a thought.
You might ask the owner about it.
Just don't expect it to have the pulling power for tubes and sking as the 4.3 did. But as mentioned, they are good engines.

the guy wants $4,500 for it, i offered $3,000 and he said no deal.. so i think i will stay with the Rinker or trade it in on a 08 Bayliner 175 .
