Is this Normal? Prop turns in Nutral......

On a 1975 70 horse moter when running out of the water for test the gearshift is in nutral however the prop turns clockwise not real fast but none the less turning. It is not under tension as it will stop easily when touched with a piece of wood, even I know better than to try it with my foot. I think the exaust is what is making it turn but want to make sure there is no other problem I should be aware of. Thanks.

normal, and you are correct about the exhaust.

In addition, the very design of the parts in the lower unit is such that the friction in one direction is not perfectly blanced with the friction in the other direction. 100% normal, and not to worry.
