Is this possible?

I have a 24' pontoon that is setup with a Evinrude engine and controls. I have a chace to buy a 75hp Mecury that I think is a 91 or 92 model. I know that I can get longer control cables for the shift and throttle, but is it possible to get a wiring extension harnnes if needed?


Please excuse the dumb question, pretty sure I already know the answer, but I did'nt want to send the money on the engine if it would not fit.

Yes..... Mercury sell harness extensions, in 10', 20' lengths (from memory).

You do realize that your current Evinrude cables and harness are incompatible with your Merc, right? Is a control included with the Merc?
