Hi people, i have a 02 bayliner 19 ft bowrider which had a 21 pitch aluminum prop and the boat did about 43 top with like 3 people and almost a full tank of gas which isn't to bad i guess...i put an ss prop on same pitch and took it out the other day and just about hit 50mph.. not bad for a little 4 cyl that was just with my wife and myself and 3/4 tank of gas...worth the money for an ss prop i also have one of those fin stabilizer's on too. Just getting back into boating since the late 80's and i missed it..

Rich,
That's great performance, but you're missing a very important piece of information. The most important thing about finding the correct prop is to make sure your engine is able to operate within the manufacturers suggested rpm range at wide open throttle(WOT). Since I don't know what engine you have I can't tell you what the correct rpm's are for your motor. You can really kill a motor quick by under or over propping so I strongly suggest you make sure you're in the range.
