First time replacing the propeller. Does all of this look right? The propeller moves in and out quite a bit, am I missing a washer? Will regrease again.

You are missing the washer under the nut. It is a special washer as it fits over the splines of the shaft.

Perfect! That's what I was thinking. The bronze looking thrust washer there supposed to have a gap like that underneath? Thought it looked kinda funny.

I have an aftermarket prop on my Johnny. It came with a stainless steel spacer that goes between the nut and the prop. Looks like a fat shotglass, with a splined hole in the bottom.

The original spacer that came with my other (Johnny) prop is too thin to use with this newer prop. You might check with the prop manufacturer and see what they recommend.

It doesn't look right on the thrust washer end either

Got the castle nut waterw locally at a marina thank god!

Runs perfect! Hit 34mph!!!

I do agree the thrust washer end doesn't look right too. Any idea what I'm missing? I hope the previous owners get a really nasty hang nail.
