Is this right? Water coolant inlet for motor.

This is that the hose connects to. Looks like a huge rubber seal because the hose is twice as big as the metal fitting? The hose is 2" I believe. And the fitting is 1". And there's a rubber spacer/donut seal that the hose slid over and clamped too. Then the hose is connected connected the power steering cooler. Is this correct ? Do I have wrong size hose or metal fitting?

Care to give us a hint about what we're working on? Is it a boat? I'll assume it's an A1G1 since that's what I have. So then yes, that donut is supposed to be there.

Don't care what the boat is, we're only interested in the engine and drive... And we need year and serial numbers (of engine and drive) if you want specific help...
