Is this the engine for my boat Mercury 115 EFI four stroke.

Hi<br />1:I'm going to buy a Trophy 2302 with twin Mercury 115 EFI Four Stroke is this the rigt choice for the boat?<br />2:I'm concerned if I will have enough HP to run the boat with 5 persons onboard and be able to pull water ski's out of the water?<br />3:How much power can I expect from the enginee during trolling speed with 1000 RPM?<br />4:Any one have an idea of the gas consumption compared to a Suzuki 115 DF?<br />5:I have heard roumers about the Suzuki 140 DF "only" puts out the same HP as a 115 HP?<br />

do some reaseach. the 115 4 stroke is a decent motor, a pair should push your 23ftr ok. you may have to play with props to allow the engine to stay in the correct operating range with a full load and skiers. the merc 115's are still yamahas with a black dress.
