Will it sell, restored? Yes. For around $2000 if it looks mint. At what cost in parts? Probably $3000. Plus your labor. If this is a boat you will use for a couple years...say 4 years, and get enjoyment....and then sell for say $1800 in the spring....you will have got your moneys worth. If you do it, and keep this thing for 5-10 years, you have profited. (Go buy a new boat for $20,000 plus, use it for 10 years, then sell it for $3500. Which scenario sounds better?)
I'm just wondering how I'd build a livewell around the roots of your tree, and keep the damn thing there. Trim it to keep the size down....great camoflage for hunting ducks maybe?
