If you do a lot of trolling (I do w/ an '85 J 140), you should consider using OMC Carbon Guard, which will help minimize carbon build up, which can be significant when trolling.<br /><br />You should also consider using an OMC product called Engine Tuner, which decarbonizes, every few years and at the time you start using Carbon Guard, which is added to the fuel. There are other decarb products such as Sea Foam, available at NAPA stores.<br /><br />Go catch some fish and enjoy!
