The stamped plate on the dash is not legible. There is no transom decal.

What data is usually there? Besides this?

Mfg Date 1971

Length 16 feet

Capacity 4 persons (Had 6 seats we removed 2)

Net weight 1760 pounds

Hp 120

Who makes thes stamped plates? Thanks in advance.

Maybe a model name/number? My 69 model has the model number and a 4 digit number after that. It is not a HIN but it is a unique serial #.

Mine is not a Mark Twain so yours may not have any additional data.

I'm sure you are referring to the stamped data plate by the helm. Mark Twain made these and included model #, capacity in lbs and persons. That's really about all it details aside from some USCG garb.
