Long time Lurker first time poster here. I purchased a well kept 89' Bayliner Capri 1901 BR at the beginning of the summer and am finally getting around to fixing the tight steering. I purchased the Uflex Racktech cable and helm assembly, the cable is perfect, but I have an issue with the Helm Assembly (G86). It is about 8" too short for my boat. Did I order the wrong assembly? Has anyone else run into this? I'm not sure what to do at this point, other than try to sell this and order a different part? The one I took out was the original Teleflex.
