It is an Orion

My son gave me a well used Duratech aluminum boat for Christmas. I studied the boats on the Duratech website and was convinced it was a Neptune 16.

Well, I finally got to work on it this week and found the manufacturer's plate on the transom and discoverd the boat is really an Orion and is 17 feet long.
I have now stripped all the wood parts including the transom, and the old steering and electrical systems so now we can begin rebuilding.

There are a few Orions in the Duratech site gallery as well...a few beauties in fact. Post any pics here if you like; one way is to visit www.tinypic.com, host the picture there, and then copy the code and paste it in a reply here...the pics will show up in the thread.
