It isn't fair!!!

FedEx just arrived with my new jack plate!

I have to be at the airport in 4 hours to go out of town until Monday.

There is just not time to pull my outboard, install the new plate, wiring, switch, etc...

Now I have to spend the entire weekend thinking about installing the plate instead of actually installing it!!!!!!!!!!

WHYYYYYYYYY??!!??!!??!!??!!??!!!!!!!

Oh God it's so beautiful, so shiny, the metal is smooth and cool in my hands; maybe I should put some fluid in and hook it to a battery... Oh!!!​

take a couple of pics of your to be install + the instructions. then while your gone ya can dream up ideas of how yer install is gonna go and obsicals that may need to be overcome.......yep, yer forced to just think about it. not always a bad thing. at least for me it isn't......

4 hours!!! Heaps of time. You should be able to have the engine off, the jack plates on and still have time for a quick test run. What's wrong with you?

Have fun thinking about doing the job, as Ziggy said, having to think about the job and possible obstacles could be a good thing....

hahahaha, shame man ....... I also find it good to sit and think about a project before starting ... not fun when afterwards you say "why didn't I think of that" .....
