Well Got It In The Boat Yesterday, Put The Juice To It Turned Her Over To Load The Cams, Then Put Some Fuel In The Carb And Voila, One 3.0n Started An Ran, Then Ran Her Long Enough To Warm Her Up And Then Adjust The Valves, And Now She S Bout Ready....however,(yeah You Knew It Was Commin!!!) The Carb Needs Rebuildin, Now My Question Is Can I Make It A Little Better Too, It Seems To Be A Mercarb, Only One Needle Valve, So Is There Anything I Can Do During The Rebuild To Get A Little More Power?

I believe the consensus is that the 3.0L is basically topped out at is it is. Unfortunately, more power requires a more powerful engine.
