Well it seems like the calls have started, people are needing parts and fast! Its always fun this time of year, shaking all the cobwebs off and getting the boats going again.
Fortunately here in GA our winters are not to abrasive so there is little that needs to be done.

We will be in Taveres FL next weekend (march 26th'ish) for a boat show. It is our favorite show of the year and about an hour outside of orlando. Its a classic boat show with about 250 boats and a huge flea market each year, so if you are in the area check it out.

it sure is. assuming everything goes well. i've had my cover off 2 times now. once a few weeks ago just for a peek to see if the mice got me (which they didn't). then yesterday i actually pulled the cover back and got in it (sure felt good). didn't do much other than check the oil to hopefully see no antifreeze on the stick (which i didn't, yeah). hopefully a good sign for when i actually get her started up. it weathered -22*F this winter. sure like the sound of your georgia winters not being to harsh and all. them -22*F nights are a drag all the way around. i'm glad to see them go away this year for sure. it's been a long, hard winter... with luck, i'm gonna go out today and recheck alignment. i think it's out a little bit from last fall when i had to raise the engine to remove the drain plug to put a new seal on it. i wanna make good and sure it's as good as i can get it before i put my drive back on..

man, your florida boat show sure sounds like a good show. i only went to one boat show this year, useally it's pretty good. this year it was pretty lame, not many boats, no old boats, no marine flea market... and it was $8 to get in. guess i figure it's not the best show i been to when i come away thinking to myself that the best boat i saw was a 17' bayliner...

wow, Thank You. that's very nice of you to comment. guess all i can say is it's very easy to be most supportive when your talking about AristoCraft boats. they were way ahead of the time and Claude's entrepreneurship is an inspiration. he really figured out how to make a boat right. sure wish my business skills were up to his level. imho, he's a true American hero.. and i don't say that lightly. mostly because i don't say that about anyone.. Thank You again for the compliment. and i'll say it again. these AristoCrafts are the cats meow... imho, new boats don't even come close to the ingenuity that AristCrafts have.. ;)

Take care everyone and happy boating!
right back at ya. happy boating to you and your family too. ya know, it's easy to do in an AristoCraft....:cool::cool:
