i just wanted to thank every1 for the help i got to get this old beast running. i took it out for the first time yesterday and it ran great. started to make a funny noise after running for about 10-15 min but it never lost any power or anything. this 1969 evinrude 18 fastwin moved my boat alot better than i exected. the onlt thing that concerns me now is the stability of the boat. if i stand in the front corner of the boat it gets apretty good lean to it but i think i could get used to it. thanks again for all the help guys.
