Re: It's Battery Time!! 120hp Force Outboard

I use a 575 cold crank deep cell battery. Can run the outboard and the trolling motor all day on one however I keep two. I get about 3 years per battery and swap out the oldest for the core. I keep the new battery for the outboard and use the older one for trolling. I paid 55 bucks for one today. If one goes bad it is nice to have a spare. If an emergency does come up there is an emergency pull on top of the flywheel and you should be able to start it with that.
