Just found link for this new rope cutter for an outboard I'm getting seems no body has tried the outboard version yet in the US/Europe, but they also have a version for shaft drives...has any one tried one of these in the US or Europe?

Just interested to hear a first hand impression.

They're called QuicKutter, I just searched for them on Google and found H4Marine.com

Thanks

I look into them for inboards.I just jump over the side to cut any rode that has wrap on my shafts.Gives me a chance to check the under side.
For my outboard boats, good time to grease the shaft after pulling the prop.To me,its a waste of money buying a cutter when you have to do maintence on those things, shafts and props anyway!
