It's the XSR48. It's 48' long, has 1600+ hp (with diesels!), a carbon fiber hull, and even a carbon fiber toilet! All this for the bargain price of just 1.1 million POUNDS!

There's some video on youtube from the show Top Gear (love that show! ) wher they race a Ferrari Daytona and the XSR48 along the French Riviera. Now there's a dream job! :D

Shucks, it will only do 85 knots! Slacker of a vessel! LOL!

You know what?

I have the same runabout!

It's usually on the back of my wallypower 118, which is also made of carbon fiber, but who needs diesels when you can have three, 5600hp turbine engines running waterjets! It actually does need diesels though, a couple 370hp bow thrusters. I picked it up on craigslist last week for a meager $25M.

I was just wondering, I didn't winterize it, how can I check for a cracked turbine? And can I use an automotive alternator, cause I need to replace the old one and its all the same right?

That back seating looks very safe incase a big wave comes by. Those jets should wake you up. or atleast clean every bit of flesh off your skeleton.

Use that to get out to where the "big" boat is moored.

Very cool. I also love Top Gear:D I saw that show with the Ferrari and the XSR48. A little while ago they did a show with "amphibians" A 1960's era Triumph Herald with a mast, a decrepit motor home and a Toyota Tundra with a massive outboard on the tailgate. They attempted to cross the English Channel. It was an absolute hoot. The Toyota actually made it to France.....the look on the faces of the French beach goers was priceless.:D:D
Highly recommend the show to all boaters and "petrol heads"

Site says the daily charter on the XSR48 is 10k.

Now that is one cool looking boat. However, just too slow for poker runs, so I'll pass.:D
