As long as you always do it the same way you will be comparing apples to apples. The compression should not vary more than 15 lbs (not %) from high to low.<br /><br />Good luck!
Dhadley: Understand what you are saying about variance. So based on 15 lbs.differential, compression should be approx 135 to 150lbs on all cyl. ?<br />Jim
I doubt it will be that high unless there are small bore heads on it. Its not unusual to see 90 lbs + or - on those. It also depends a lot on your gauge. We've seen gauges vary quite a bit from each other so we try to always use the same one.<br /><br />Good luck!
