Anyone switch to J series DuoProp props yet? What do you think? What's different, good, bad ?
I was going to put this in the propeller forum but a search turned up nothing on J series.
So do what you got to do.

didnt even know about them. here is a brochure http://www.volspec.co.uk/pdfs/J-type-propellers.pdf

It looks like they are using a variation of the A Props and offering it as a replacement of the A and B Props. Im not sure I buy the B5 = J6. the A's had a bit more bite than the B's because of the 4-blade. Me thinks the brochure has that one flipped around.

I just bought a set I will be using in the spring ISIZING GUIDELINES FOR TYPE-J:
Replacement for Type-A and Type-B:
? Type-A series numbering corresponds to J-series
numbering (approx.) i.e. a set of A5 corresponds
to a set of J5.
? Type-B series numbering corresponds to one
size larger J-series numbering (approx.) i.e. a
set of B5 corresponds to a set of J6. am running 42 mph at 4400 rpm on my 24 albermarle
