Hi.. I have a 1984 J90 that's had the VRO removed and a mechanical fuel pump fitted. I have managed to get hold of a VRO pump and wanted to use it to pump the premix fuel.

Does anyone know what the wiring is for the VRO pump..

I have 4 wires: black, (looks like earth or Neg)
BLUE, ?
pink, looks like it's part of the alarm circuit
Purple, ?

any idea what the other 2 wires are for..

I plan to blank off the oil side of the VRO and just use it for a fuel pump.

Thanks, Steve

Re: J90 VRO Wiring

no need for wiring, just connect the fuel lines and pulse line from block. when you disable a VRO pump, you block off the oil side and remove the wiring connections.

Be sure to use a blue and gold pulse limiter in the pulse line.

OK, thanks guys, just so I am clear, the pulse connector is the smaller port (next to the wiring) right?. Fuel lines in the middle and the larger single port at the front for the oil.

Cheers, Steve
