I'm doing some preventative maintenance on my '87 90hp, rebuilding carbs, replacing stats, water pump, plugs, etc, and I want to replace all the fuel lines from tank to carbs. Can anyone tell me what sizes and lengths I will need?

Thanks in advance.

Re: J90TLCUR Fuel Line sizes

A Bombardier 8 foot 5/16" fuel line from the tank to the engine will be fine. Once inside the cowling, you will have to look at the lines. The small fuel primer lines and recirculation lines are just bulk hose which you can purchase from your dealer. The main fuel lines feeding the pump and carbs can be special. Those which make sharp bends are special, heat formed at the factory and can't be replaced with bulk hose as it will kink on a sharp bend-causing a fuel restriciton. Those heat-formed hoses actually have specific part numbers. You can check out the hoses on the factory parts list website: epc.brp.com. You may find the new hoses will appear and feel different from the current ones. There are new gov't regs coming into play which are affecting the look and feel of any hose which you purchase.
