I did raise the motor, and get a gain. A whopping two miles per hour... With a full load it was slower. I think the jack plate moved the weight back to far and screwed up the balance. <br /><br />I'm going to try putting the motor back on the transom just an inch higher than it was before.<br /><br /><br /> Fishing Arizona and the Colorado River <br />
