if the boat turn right, move back of fin to right, straight is factory setting as all boats are different. you will have to experiment, and will probably get it all out. called torque steer, nature of a spinning prop. google javlin boats. or post the hull number and we can check the USCG site.

Re: javlin boats

Javelin Boats has died.
They were purchased by Nitro I think.

Remember If you don't support the smaller boat builders then Tracker/basspro and Brunswick will be your only choices.

Brunswick ownes Mercury thus you can only get a Merc on a Brunswick boat.
Tracker has no backbone and tries to sell the boat a family can afford never mind the fact that it falls apart.

Re: javlin boats

I have a Javelin 409 F/S. Great boat. I really think it's a stable fishing boat, but I've only ever fished on a friends bass boat other than mine, you have to hang on for dear life if someone walks across the deck on his boat that thing gets to rocking but don't experience that with mine. Javelin was purchased by Stratos a few years ago. The only downside I've found with the fish and ski is the windshield does get in the way occasionaly when casting. However once I got used to it being there no big deal, my wife however still gets hung up on it occasionally among trees and other things but that's a different story. The only other complaint I have is the lack of a decent rod storage area. I keep my rods in the under deck storage area but they tend to get tangled up. One of these days when I get a couple hours free time I'm going to build something to keep them separated. I came very close to this spring to trading mine on a Ranger 520. Did the research, setup a test run, and while waiting the couple days on a test run thought, you know, my boat isn't perfect, but it works for me, it's almost paid for, no way I'm trading on a 22000 dollar(used) boat. Anyways, enjoy the boat.
