Re: JB

Either he is at LOTW Ontario, or he is home, sitting in his boat, looking at the top of the roof of his house.

He might have a hummingbird feeder hanging off his stern light.

Re: JB

I was at LOTW, fishing with my son and his son. Had a great time. :) See my report in FWF.

As for rain. . . .lordy me, what rain!!

When I left my YTD was over 30"; when I got back there was another 6" in the rain guage. "Normal" annual here is 21". About 12 yards of gravel that was my driveway is somewhere between here and the Gulf.

My small tanks are overflowing but my big "fishing" tank is torn all to heck. The gas drilling company agreed to clean out the silt (about 8'-12') in return for me selling them water to fracture new wells. They were about 1/3 done when the rains came and drove them away. They haven't come back yet. :( There are two cuts through the dam to allow the dozers to push the silt downhill from the dam, but there are still pools up to 8' deep and silty mud that resembles superglue in its ability to stick earth moving equipment.

Sure wish I was in the hay business. I haven't seen such lush growth in at least 15 years. TWC says that every river basin in Texas is at flood stage. That hasn't happened since 1957.
