Jet drive on crestliner

I know this is for non engine related topics, but not sure where else to post this topic. Has anyone ever installed a jet drive on an I/O equipped boat? I have an 88 2.3 omc with cobra outdrive, and thinking how sweet it would be to run a vortec 350 fuel injection with an American Turbine SD 309 jet drive assy. Whatcha think? Could it be done? Just brainstorming right now, but it would make my decision alot easier if someone has done it. Or if it can even be done. I know i would probably have to seal up the outdrive and make an extention for the drive, but i really am not sure. any input?
