I have a 95 14'Boston Rage Jet with the OMC 115hp turbojet which is OK ,but remember ,your steering is nill at idel , parts are expensive and shallow means 12" or greater at low speed or idel. I have been in water as low as 6" at speed which is fun .<br />I am trying to find info. on installing a 175 Mercury sport jet to replace the OMC , as handeling is better and parts are easier to find.<br />If I were you I would try to buy a used jet boat but it sounds fun. <br />Good luck TY
