Jets for 1985 J140TXCO

My carbs have jets with a 14 stamped on the Idle jets and 40 stamped on the intermediat jet. Does anyone know if this is the correct size jetting for that engine. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Would installing size 20 jets on the Idle circuit cause a lean condition?

It will certianly be leaner, yes. What is the motor doing or not doing that you want to change?

Trying to smooth out a rough idle. I've done a number of suggested repairs and have had quite a bit of improvment in the idle but i would call it a smooth one.
