Joe Reeves timing question

1990 225 Evinrude T225TXESS does anyone know if this engine has quick start, my original manual does not say anything about quick start. thanks for reading

Yes it does. A clear giveaway is looking at the port temp sensor at the top of the head, two wires coming out, one white/black (QS) and the other tan (temp). That is assuming you have the right temp sensor switch in there.

just read joe reeves blog about timing with quick start, guess i have to do it on the water,thats scary

I just posted an alternative method...basically the same as Reeves', but with the engine running. Search my past posts within the last week, and read how. I do this on my V6 loopers with great success.
