 Today I took the boat out after changing all 4 ignition coils , spark plugs and lower gear oil. Well, I went out and when I put it in shift (forward) it made grinding noise. But it ran! While running it will lose power and I had to keep pressing the choke button. Also while running it make a forceful bang like trying to pick up speed , but it doesn't! I quickly took out the boat and went home. I started up the engine to flush it no problems, I put it in gear (forward) works great. I then checked the lower gear oil that I had recently changed and it was a milky beige color. Almost look like cream. This does not look normal at all! Anyone have any idea whats going on ?? Also , while flushing I notice that water was coming out of the lower gear where the base seperates? Could the lower gear be mixing water? and causing failure to the engine?
Any help will be appreciated?
