I have the motor control mounted on a horizontal surface on the console of the boat. It seems there is not enough room for the throttle (in reverse) to rev up the engine so I'm concerned that one day I'm going to need a good reverse action and I'm not going to have it. Is there any way of adjusting the throttle or am I going to have to put a wedge in the mount so I can have more movement?

thanks,

Dave

don't approach anything faster than you are willing to hit it. reverse is not a brake. due to design of boats reverse is not fast. you can try to remount, but won't get much more.
