Quick run down. I ran it super low on fuel lower than it?s ever been so I filled her up with Wal-Mart gas and used Pennzoil Premium oil. Well it seems like it all started then, now its harder to crank to start the day and then if it sets for any period of time after running its just as hard to crank back up spits and sputters a bit really ticking me off. I have purchased a new canister filter but have not put it on thinking i need to run all this crap out first. I also started noticing when i gun it on take off it bogs down for a sec then takes off. I?m just wondering if i need to get a new hose and bubble as well. Any suggestions?

Thanks

sounds like crud in the low speed jets. install the filter, check spark then clean the carbs.

Well im doing a few things i think. So far i have changed the canister filter tomorrow im gonna put a new bulb on it and cut it and some line off and check for dry rot. Then off to the shop if it dont clear up or gonna look in my OMC manual and see how difficult it is to do myself.

Well i ran the boat yesterday it took a min for the fuel to get up after i put a new bulb kit on it. I also cut in another inline filter. After i cranked it up all was good the sputtering stopped and it ran great. It will even putt around in idle till no end, but when it sits for a period it still does not crank like i think is should. I still have to give it a little throttle to get going. I dont know if this factors in but humidity was real high yesterday even a drizzle of rain at times. Oh yea and the bogging down on take off has stopped which is good.
