Howdy, hunter.

Welcome to iboats. :)

You can get an OEM Manual reprint from www.kencook.com.

To find the ideal screw (prop), read the article on Prop Selection in the Engine FAQs, then go to the Prop Forum.

Since this is an engine question, I will move it to Non-Repair Outboard.

Just in case we're talking about the idle speed adjustment screw, there isn't one. The idle rpm is adjusted with the timer base. BUT - the sync-n-link has to be correct first.

Hi Jb thx for that link but I could not for the life of me find how to get where I needed. Thx any way it seems DHadley is saying it doesn,t have one?
The motor has been running very smoky since I last got it serviced and has been stalling all of a sudden when I start up or when I running Idle. cheers

Re: Johnson 130hp ocean pro 2000yr Ideal screw?

Thx again for your time trying to help me much appreciated Dhadley!
Just went out to my boat and lifted the lid to the outboard motor and out of the four plugs i could look at to get the name of the plugs i am using, the one I check happened to be quite loose??? I had problems stating my motor a month ago when my batterys were not charged up and fouled the plugs and had to clean them and looks like i didn,t tiighten all the plugs! That might account for the stalling in the last month? It seems.
Anyway I am using champion QL78yc but I did get a new set recently figuring that I might need new one and they are NGK BPR7HS. I hope this helps. I also notice my fuel squeezer things to the pump fuel manually dosent seem to have all that much presure though I have a full 130lr tank.I thought I might add this just in case its related some how.Im thinking being 8yrs old it might have a very small hole should I change it. cheer buddy!

The Champions are a long reach plug. That wouldn't be my choice for that motor but rather the QL78C or the QL77JC4. I sure wouldn't run KGB's .....I mean NGK's in an OMC.
