I took my boat to a shop for maintainance because it was skipping quite bad. They sent me away with new sparks plugs, $100 repair bill, and a boat that still didn't run. I took it back and they said it worked fine for them and they charged me another $100. The third time they told me it was the coils, and that they weren't firing the plugs consistantly. They told me the bill would be around $480. I didn't tell them to do it yet because I wanted some opinions first. Is the price fair for what they are doing? Thanks

Welcome to the board. What you need to do is go to the bottom left corner of this page and order yourself a manuel. It does not take a genius to change plugs or coils, impellers or add lower end oil you can do that your self and save big bucks. as far as what the shop charged you I cannot and will not a shop for what it charges because I do not own it. but what you don't understand from the manuel just come back and post in this same thread and someone will answer you. You can do a search at the top of page and a lot of questions are already answered
