johnson 155 wont start!!

i just bought another boat with a a bad motor and i put my johnson 155 on it connected everything and it seems like there is no power going to the starter now.when i turn the key it does absolutely nothing like if the battery is dead.the instrument \lights come and the tilt works fine also.i dont know where to look first to find the problem.the motor started fine a week
before i put it on new boat.on the new boat when the bad motor the motor was turning over.

Have you got voltage to the starter solenoid from the key switch when you turn the key to start, does the solenoid click when you try to start it?

Have you got all the battery cable connections clean and tight on both the battery and the mtr ?? Is the battery good and fully charged ??

Battery is fully charged solenoid is not clicking at all

there should be a small fuse inside a rubber housing somewhere on top of the motor (atleast thats where mine is) my motor blew this fuse when i was taking the solenoid off one time..check that..just a thought
