Johnson 15HP HELP PLEASE!!!

I have a late 70's Johnson 15HP on a sailboat. The engine starts, but cuts off by itself. I can't seem to keep it running continuously. Could it be not enough air getting into the engine? What can I do to keep it running? Thanks in advance.

How long has it been sitting? Have you checked you spark plug? How old is the fuel and did it sit with stabil or other fuel additive in it?

The engine was runnig fine until today. I'll check the spark plugs. I'll also add some seafoam to the gasoline and spray some deep creep on it too. If you have any other suggestions, let me know!
