johnson 175 carburated 2002

does anyone own or have feedback on a 2002 johnson 175 (carb). i am considering a purchase and am curious as to any notorious problems with this motor.

They're great motors tjbco. (I have 2001 J150 which is essentially the same motor). Several people have asked similar questions recently and the opinions of the gurus here are that these are awesome motors. I'm not aware of any particular problems.

Welcome!!<br /><br />The biggest problem I see is that it's fixin to be yours not mine.....<br /><br />They're really great motors. They're kinda fussy about liking Champion spark plugs only. Dont chance another brand.
