Johnson 175 lower end grease, What type?

I have a 1990 Johnson 175 (J175STLESE)and just realized that the Quicksilver grease I used says, "do not use on OMC with electric shift". Does any one know how to tell if I have that type and screwed uped or did I panick for nothing ?

Granite,<br /><br />You're OK. The Merc. stuff sounds like an equivelant to OMC-Hi Vis.<br /><br />THe fluid for electric shifts was/is called Premium Blend.
