Johnson 1958 5.5 hp Restoration Question 2 - Throttle Roller?

All the restoration websites, part listings etc etc show the timing advance plate rolling back and forth on a roller. Mine (special that it is....) has no roller only a spring-loaded bare metal arm that controls the carb. It must have been run that way as there is white grease to facilitate the travel and a resting groove (or wear point?) at full throttle position on the plate.

I looked at the arm and there is not mounting hole where a roller could have been atached. Anyone seen this before?

Edited to add - answered my own question - I found a diagram in the sticky at the top of the page that shows the AD's control as being just like mine. Back to our normal programming.............

That is correct for a 5.5hp - just the metal rod riding against the cam.
